We want you to know that The Artists Group, has another blog that "tries" to connect the creative community of Long Island; Not only for the creatives themselves, but, for the public at large.
Many events could be more successful if others know they are happening. In the effort to help the public be more aware, we are trying ( and I say trying, because it is a daunting task) to have the information out there for all to see by posting events, artists.musicians, poets and other creatives' web sites to the CANDO blog.
We are asking any Long Island based imagineer to help by sending us your info, event listing, or any stuff that you might need an audience for. We all need an audience, that's why we do what we do. We love being creative. We like to share. Artistic people are some of the most generous and loving of all human kind.
We hope you will join the movement and blend our voices together to make our Island the best it can be. We love this Island, we hope you love it, too.
We look forward to new information to add to CANDO.
Hope to see you at the fundraiser for Long Island Artworks in August at Metropolitan Bistro 39 Roslyn Avenue in Sea Cliff, one of the many Gallery openings, concerts or poetry readings that make this land our home and especially at the 2010 Long Island Fringe Festival held at C.W.Post Campus - Long Island University - Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, in September.
